Airport Fees: Domestic Fees are Frozen while International Fees are Raised
Argentina’s Airport System Regulatory Body (ORSNA) ordered a total freeze on the domestic aerostation use fee until 2022 while increasing the international fee for tickets for March 15, 2021 onwards.

On January 13, Argentina’s Airport System Regulatory Body (“ORSNA” after its acronym in Spanish) issued and published Resolution No. 4/2021 ordering a total freezing on the domestic aerostation use fee until the end of 2021.
ORSNA deemed it was prudent to maintain the suspension and freeze of the domestic aerostation use fee until 2022 so as not to hinder competitiveness and productivity as the sector recovers, seeking to achieve increasing levels of air connectivity for the benefit of users and the enhancement of the direct and indirect impacts of air transport.
At the same time, ORSNA raised the international aerostation use fee by six United States dollars for each international passenger embarked on Group “A” terminals as classified by the Aerodromes of the Argentine National Airport System. This fee for international flights will apply to tickets from March 15, 2021 onwards issued after the publication of this resolution.
According to ORSNA, to ensure that air transport is competitive, the resolution expressly seeks not to hinder any airport charges directly applicable to airlines performing domestic or international services or the usage fee for regional flights.
