International Women's Day

Today, as we commemorate International Women’s Day, we salute all women that are part of Marval. Their contribution to the firm is priceless, and our commitment to support women’s professional careers in Marval is unwavering. We were the first corporate law firm to appoint a female partner (Patricia López Aufranc) and women’s position within our law firm has always been a fundamental concern for us. Our progressive DNA and our instinct to overcome limits motivates us to continue building a culture with more parity, assuring equal opportunities, and fostering career development for women in Marval, as their unique abilities and aptitudes are indisputable.

Today we invite you to continue thinking together of new ways to enhance women’s careers, while fostering their personal growth and helping both men and women make their personal lives more balanced so they can advance their own personal growth.

We couple this growth with concrete actions: the extension of paternity leave, the creation of a breastfeeding room in our offices, the implementation of the maternity coaching program for those mothers returning from maternity leave and the appointment of women in leadership positions within the Executive Committee and in the different committees and work groups.

We value and profoundly respect each and every woman forming part of the Marval team. This women’s month, we would like to invite everybody to the various initiatives that we will be putting forward in the future. These initiatives will allow us to continue growing and supporting women in their respective careers, as well as to continue building a diverse and inclusive company culture in which every member of Marval has a profound sense of belonging and can reach their full potential.
