From July 1, exceptions for certain cities are limited in the new extension of the Social, Preventive and Mandatory Isolation

On June 29, Decree 576/2020 (the “Decree”) was published in the Official Gazette, extending the term of the “Social, Preventive and Mandatory Isolation” until July 17, 2020 including certain areas of the country, and ordering the “Social, Preventive and Mandatory Distancing” for the rest of the areas. The Social, Preventive and Mandatory Distancing implies that people can circulate, work and carry out their activities as long as they keep two meters away from each other.

For the entire country, the following have been established: the suspension of on-site classes and at all levels, the prohibition of circulation for those who are a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19, the exemption to attend work for certain risk people, and the prohibition of entry to the country for non-resident foreigners is extended until July 17.

From July 1 to July 17, all regulations authorizing exceptions to "social, preventive and mandatory isolation" and to the ban on movement, in places where such isolation must be observed, are suspended.

The Social, Preventive and Mandatory Isolation will govern for the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires, with the same limitations that have been in force since March 20, 2020 by order of Decree 297/2020.
