Coeur executives announced the development of a new mining project in the Province of Santa Cruz, very near Mina Martha, the silver production enterprise that the company currently operates. Coeur’s executives expressed their intention to invest in the exploration of a new project named Joaquín, located 90 kilometers north of Mina Martha, in which a 70 million ounce silver reservoir was discovered. At the same time, the executives assured that the works performed at Mina Martha would allowed the mine’s useful life to extend, which will continue producing silver. Hence, Coeur ratifies the intention of increasing its investments in the Argentine mining industry, which at the moment add up to over 100 millon pesos invested by the company in Santa Cruz.
