The mining company will build the first bi-national mine in the world, between San Juan and Chile in Pascua – Lama. In addition, it will try to increase the production in Veladero. From the total amount, approximately AR$ 8,700 million will be invested on the Argentine side of the project and more than 600 million will be destined to continue with the mine’s production in Veladero (San Juan).
