Candela Aznar Leon

Candela Aznar Leon joined Marval O’Farrell Mairal in 2022 as part of the Banking and Finance Department and Foreign Exchange and Capital Controls.

Candela graduated with honors from the University of Buenos Aires Law School in 2022, specializing in Economic & Business Law. Later, she attended postgraduate programs on Anti-Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction Financing, offered by Torcuato Di Tella University and the Pontifical Catholic University of Buenos Aires in 2023 and 2024, respectively.

Recently, she has participated in Banking and Foreign Exchange regulatory consultations, as well as in summaries before the Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF) and the Argentine Central Bank (BCRA).

Before joining the Firm, she worked as paralegal at Paolantonio & Legón Abogados, a law firm specializing in Capital Markets, Corporate Law, Finance and Mutual Funds.

Lately, Candela has been involved in a variety of domestic and international transactions and in advising on a wide range of corporate, commercial, and contractual matters.
