Advanced Rulings on Origin Now Digitalized

General Resolution (ARCA) 5859/2026, published in the Official Gazette on June 5, 2026, and effective as of June 22, 2026, incorporates the advance resolutions of origin the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and SMEs issues into the Argentine Foreign Trade Single Window (VUCEA).

Although the advanced rulings on origin were already provided for in the Customs Code, and had recently been regulated by Resolution (SICyPyME) 26/2026, the new measure allows to validate them automatically when registering a definitive import. Accordingly, it will not be necessary to file a physical copy, as its electronic identification in the electronic system will suffice.

Resolution 5859 establishes the procedural guidelines to report it and establishes the mechanisms that apply if the electronic system fails.
