Expansion of Activities and Services Exempted from the Social, Preventive and Mandatory Isolation
Through the Administrative Decision of the Chief of Cabinet 810/2020, certain activities and services were exempted from the social, preventive and mandatory isolation.
On May 16, 2020, the Administrative Decision of the Chief of Staff No. 810/2020 was published in the Official Gazette expanding the list of activities and services excepted in section 6 of Decree 297/2020 and its complementary regulations throughout:
a) the national territory with the exception of the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (the “AMBA” after its acronym in Spanish) to the following:
1. Individual religious activities in churches, temples and places of proximity (for the Apostolic and Roman Catholic Church and those registered in the Argentine Registry of Religion) but without holding ceremonies;
2. Activity and service of maintenance and reparation of railway material, shipments, ships and aircraft,
3. Manufacture and provision of supplies and spare parts essential for the provision of the services mentioned in point 2 above; and
4. Pilot training activity carried out through private flights, with certain requirements.
b) the national territory to the following:
5. Personnel of the Social Security Administration (the “ANSES” after its acronym in Spanish);
6. Specialists in occupational health and safety;
7. Activities of the concessionaires of Argentine road corridors, including the collection of tolls; and
8. Insurance companies, reinsurers and intermediaries.
In all cases, the recommendations and instructions of the health authority must be observed and employers must guarantee hygiene and safety conditions, organizing shifts and guaranteeing transportation.
The new people covered by this Decision must process a Certificate to circulate except for those mentioned in subsection 1 (parishioners) and the personnel of ANSESs must process a special permit (pursuant to the Annex of Administrative Decision 427/2020).
Personnel of ANSES are authorized to use public transportation.
