The Argentine National Immigration Department implemented an Electronic Travel Authorization (in Spanish AVE) for People’s Republic of China citizens coming to Argentina for tourism reasons.
Since September, they can require a tourist visa through the Argentine National Direction Department’s web page. Chinese citizens need to be in possession of a United States B2-category valid visa or a Schengen one issued by one of the European Union Member States. The online system requires a valid passport. The validity of those visas must include the term of the AVE resolution and a three-month subsequent period.
