| This decree establishes 2017 as the “Year of Renewable Energy”. It also established that during 2017 any official document issued by the National Public Administration, centralized and decentralized as well as of the self-governing entities dependent of it must use the caption “2017-Year of Renewable Energy”. |

President Mauricio Macri established that 2017 will be the “year of renewable energy” through a decree published in the Official Gazette. This regulation pretends to boost the use of this type of energy and urges that the official documentation of the national public administration must have the caption “2017-Year of Renewable Energy”.
This decision is established in article 2 of Law No. 27,191 which sets as an objective “to achieve for December 31, 2017 a contribution of the renewable energy sources until they reach 8% of consumption of national electric power.

| While defining the terms for electricity bills which will operate from February, the minister of Energy, Juan Jose Aranguren achieved the first important success during Macri´s administration: A joint venture between the Mexican companies ICA and CFE and the Spanish Acciona which will invest USD 3,000 million in electricity generation plants. It is a partnership integrated by Advance Corp (a construction company and energetic engineer company belonging to ICA group of Davis Martinez), a gas company Enagas, CFEnergia (the international sector of the state Electricity Federal Comision) and Acciona, the Spanish construction company. The project takes into account the construction of two thermal power plants General Electric (GE) with 840 MW power for each in Cordoba and Parana and the installation of a port terminal for operations “ship to ship” in the Parana river of Palmas with a capacity of regasification of 17 daily million cubic meters of natural gas to supply the power stations.

| On the basis of fighting global warming and aiming at sustainable development, the President announced the sign of 16 contracts for renewable energy projects which will generate 818 power megawatts and represent investments of more than 1,200 million USD. These contracts are for round 1.0 of the Renovar Program, an ambitious initiative boosted by the Executive to stimulate new energies through tax incentives. “We are signing 16 contracts and others which we expect to initiate and in several years pass the 2% of the total generation of energy consumed in the country based on renewable resources and quadruple it,” said Macri. The official expectation is to complete the remaining 6% of clean energy between 2017 and 2018. The government anticipates that the private investments will be for USD 4,000 million and create 20, 000 jobs.

|
Declara el Año 2017 como el “AÑO DE LAS ENERGÍAS RENOVABLES”. Dispone que durante el Año 2017, toda la documentación oficial de la ADMINISTRACIÓN PÚBLICA NACIONAL, centralizada y descentralizada, así como en los Entes autárquicos dependientes de ésta, deberá llevar la leyenda “2017 - AÑO DE LAS ENERGÍAS RENOVABLES”. |

“Por decreto, 2017 será el “año de las energías renovables”, publicado por El Cronista el 05/01/2017 |
El presidente Mauricio Macri dispuso que 2017 sea el "año de las energías renovables", a través de un decreto publicado en el Boletín Oficial. La medida pretende impulsar el uso de este tipo de energías e insta a que toda la documentación oficial de la administración pública nacional lleve la leyenda "2017 - Año de las energías renovables".
Esta decisión se inscribe en el artículo 2 de la ley N°27.191, que establece como objetivo “lograr al 31 de diciembre 2017 una contribución de las fuentes de energía renovables hasta alcanzar el 8% del consumo de energía eléctrica nacional.

El Programa de Energías Renovables del Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial (INTI) y la Subsecretaría de Energías Renovables del Ministerio de Energía y Minería (MINEM), que encabeza Juan José Aranguren, publicaron un informe con el primer relevamiento nacional del sector, que revela importante desarrollo de este tipo de energía renovable.

Mientras define los ajustes para las facturas de luz que regirán desde febrero, el ministro de Energía, Juan José Aranguren, anotó el primer éxito importante para la administración de Macri en su sector: Un joint venture de las mexicanas ICA y CFE, junto a la española Acciona, invertirán 3.000 millones de dólares en plantas generadoras de electricidad. Se trata del consorcio integrado por las aztecas Advance Corp. (una empresa constructora y de ingeniería energética del poderoso grupo ICA de Davis Martínez), la gasífera Enagás, CFEnergía (el brazo internacional de la estatal Comisión Federal de Electricidad) y el grupo constructor español Acciona. El proyecto en juego contempla la construcción de dos centrales térmicas General Electric (GE) de 840 MW de potencia cada una en Córdoba y Paraná y la instalación de una terminal portuaria de operaciones “ship-to-ship” en el Paraná de las Palmas con una capacidad de regasificación de 17 millones de metros cúbicos diarios de gas natural para abastecer a las usinas.

Con el argumento de enfrentar el cambio climático y apuntar a un desarrollo sustentable, el Presidente anunció ayer la firma de 16 contratos para proyectos de energía renovable que generarían 818 megavatios de potencia (MW) y representan inversiones de más de 1.200 millones de dólares. Los contratos corresponden a la ronda 1.0 del programa Renovar, una iniciativa ambiciosa con la que el Ejecutivo busca estimular las nuevas energías mediante incentivos fiscales. "Estamos firmando 16 contratos y varias decenas más, que esperamos rubricar, y esperamos que en un par de años pasar del 2% del total de generación de energía que consumimos en el país en base a recursos renovables, a más que cuadruplicarlos", dijo Macri. La expectativa oficial es completar el restante 6% de cuota de energías limpias entre 2017 y 2018. El Gobierno estima que la inversión privada total será de unos 4.000 millones de dólares y se crearán 20.000 empleos.
